RIGHT FLAP MIDDLE FLAP TRACK HAS SEVERE CORROSION INBOARD SIDE. REMOVED AND REPLACED RIGHT FLAP MIDDLE FLAP TRACK IN REFERENCE TO C208 SRM 51-40-00.
WHEN CONDUCTING A ROUTINE APPROVED MODIFICATION OF THE RIGHT FLAP WE FOUND THAT THERE WAS A CRACK IN THE AFT INBOARD SPAR (P/N 2625005-18 AT THE BEND RADIUS BETWEEN WS68 AND WS53.5. THE AIRCRAFT HAS A TOTAL TIME OF 3700 HOURS ON IT WHEN THE CRACK WAS DISCOVERED. WE SUBMITTED A SIMILAR M/D REPORT WITH AN INCIDENT DATE OF 04/26/18 AND THE OPINIONS PUT FORTH IN THAT ON HOLD TRUE. THE SKIN AD RIBS IN THIS AREA SHOULD BE MADE OF A THICKER ALUMINUM AND THE RIBS MAY NEED TO MIRROR THE FRONT SPAR IN NUMBER.

(CAN) DURING TAKEOFF THE ENGINE HAD A LOSS OF TORQUE FROM 1800FT.LBS TO 1000FT.LBS APPROXIMATELY. THEN THE PILOT CONTINUE WITH THE MANEUVERS AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. DURING REPLACEMENT OF THE FCU AND FUEL, THE MAINTENANCE CREW FOUND THAT THE COUPLING BETWEEN THE FCU AND FUEL PUMP WAS WORN AND BROKEN IN 2 PIECES, 1 BROKEN PIECE WAS STILL INSIDE OF THE FUEL PUMP AND THE OTHER ATTACHED IN THE SPLINES OF THE DRIVESHAFT OF THE FCU. TT FCU 5543.7 HRS. AND THE FUEL PUMP 5239.3 HRS.
DURING ROUTINE FUEL PUMP GARLOC SEAL REPLACEMENT FOR LEAKAGE, THE MECHANIC INSPECTED THE FUEL PUMP DRIVE GEAR AND IT BECAME DECOUPLED FROM THE FUEL PUMP. THIS IS NOT NORMAL FOR THIS MODEL PUMP. THE ACCESSORY DRIVE GEAR IS HOLLOW AND HAD THE FUEL PUMP DRIVE MIGRATED FORWARD AND DECOUPLED FROM THE PUMP, THE FCU WOULD HAVE LOST REFERENCE AND CAUSED AN INFLIGHT SHUTDOWN. INSPECTION OF THE DRIVE GEAR APPEARS THE RETAINER IS DEFORMED AND INEFFECTIVE.

DURING PREFLIGHT, DISCOVERED THAT THE CARBON BLOCK WHICH RIDES IN THE CHANNEL OF THE PROPELLER BETA FEEDBACK COLLAR WAS DAMAGED BY A SMALL FAILURE OF THE SECTION OF THE FEEDBACK COLLAR CHANNEL WALL DIRECTLY UNDER ONE OF THE MOUNTING STUDS. ONE POSSIBILTY THAT HAS BEEN SEEN PREVIOUSLY, IF TOO MUCH THREADLOCKER IS USED OR IF PREVIOUS RESIDUAL THREADLOCKER WAS NOT REMOVED, HYDRAULIC PRESSURE COULD RESULT IN DAMAGE TO THE COLLAR WALL WHEN STUD IS INSTALLED. IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT THIS PROPELLER WAS IN STORAGE.
FLIGHT 7778, ENROUTE, THE PILOT ENCOUNTERED ENGINE OIL SPRAYING ONTO THE WINDSHIELD. THE PILOT ELECTED TO DIVERT. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. NO EMERGENCY. MAINTENANCE REMOVED PROPELLER, REPLACED THE PROP SHAFT SEAL AND O-RING. REINSTALLED PROPELLER. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO [S/N removed].
DURING TAXI, THE ENGINE SHOWED HIGH VIBRATIONS. PILOT SHUTDOWN THE ENGINE. INSPECTION FOUND ENGINE PROPELLER WITH A LOOSE BOLT, CAUSING THE BLADE ANGLE TO CHANGE, WHICH CREATED IMBALANCE. ENGINEERING RECOMMENDED TO REMOVE POWER SECTION FOR INSPECTION & REPAIR, AS THE ENGINE SUFFERED VIBRATION.

PILOT NOTICED AFTER DESCENT TO FLIGHT LEVEL 1500 FEET, LEVELING OFF AND ADDING POWER, TORQUE INDICATION DROPPED 200 AND RECOVERED ON ITS OWN WITH NO INPUT TO THE POWER LEVER. AFTER DISCUSSION WITH PRATT AND WHITTNEY, IT WAS DETERMINED THAT THE FUEL CONTROL DESCENT BELLOWS WAS THE ISSUE.
LOSS OF ENGINE THROTTLE RESPONSE FOLLOWED BY AN UNCOMMANDED ENGINE SHUTDOWN ON THE TAXIWAY PRIOR TO TAKEOFF. THE AIRCRAFT FUEL SYSTEM WAS CHECK FOR CONTAMINATION WITH NO APPRECIABLE WATER OR DEBRIS FOUND IN WING TANKS OR RESERVOIR. FIREWALL FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY VISUALLY CHECKED WITH NO APPRECIABLE CONTAMINATION IN THE SCREEN AND THE FILTER BYPASS INDICATOR FOUND IN THE NORMAL POSITION. ENGINE DRIVEN FUEL PUMP INLET SCREEN AND MAIN FILTER CHECKED WITH NO APPRECIABLE CONTAMINATION NOTED.
JUST AFTER SHUTDOWN THE PILOT NOTICED SMOKE COMING FROM THE THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT, FOLLOWED BY FLAME ABOVE THE COPILOT WINDOW. THE PILOT EXITED THE COCKPIT AND CONTACTED EMERGENCY [S/N removed]. THE PILOT CALLED DISPATCH AND WAS TRANSFERRED TO MAINTENANCE CONTROL. MAINTENANCE WAS NOTIFIED AND PEFORMED A BORESCOPE INSPECTION AND ADJUSTED THE RIGGING ON THE CONDITION LEVER. AFTER SEVERAL ENGINE RUNS THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO [S/N removed].

DURING CRUISE FLIGHT, CA AND FO NOTICED A STRONG BURNING SMELL, LIKE BURNING RUBBER AND PLASTIC. FLIGHT WAS DIVERTED AND MADE AN UNSCHEDULED LANDING. MAINTENANCE WAS DISPATCH AND PERFORMED THE INSPECTION WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED AND A GROUND PERFORMANCE RUN. NO SMELL WAS NOTED DURING THE GROUND RUN. THE AIRCRAFT THEN DID A MAINTENANCE CHECK FLIGHT, WHICH WAS SATISFACTORY AND THE AIRCRAFT WAS RETURNED TO [S/N removed].

Low-time fractures of compressor turbine blades have caused loss of engine power and in-flight shutdowns on certain P&WC turboprop engines. The AD requires replacement of certain compressor turbine vanes and removal from service of certain compressor turbine blades that operated with specific vane configurations.
